Iv gotten my hopes up with the 14th already...iv just conceded the fact that It wont be out until the 24th (after I get back)... if it ends up coming out b4 I leave Thursday night (17th) Ill be surprised and over joyed.. if it doesn't it doesn't, I will get it when I get back in town.

It works for me too. My NE2 credit kicks in on the 16th, so I was really hoping for the TB to be released on the 17th, but I think I can hold out for an extra week.

That is, if I don't throw my BB Curve out a window before then.

Seriously. I spoke to the VZ rep. He seemed to laugh at the 24th date. He said it will be at our best buy on sale Next Thursday and that it will be a BB exclusive. When i spoke to my co worker he said yea we were told the 14th. After i said what about the rumor of the 24th he said don't believe the hype, it will be here next week. So yea, i believe it. We got our shipment of screen protectors today, no phone yet. Next thursday sounds more realistic than the 14th since the 17th is a Thurs.

The 17th is what the employees at my local BB told me when I stopped in a few nights ago. They based it on the fact that their system showed the pre-order period ending on the 16th.

While 2 different stores giving the 17th as the date is nice, it's a few drops of water in this sea of rumors we've heard. Hopefully, we'll hear something tomorrow; seems like everyday there's a new rumor. Maybe Verizon will get on the ball and give us an official date tomorros

11th or the 24th works well for me... I am stuck here in Main till Tuesday then I leave for North Carolina on Thursday (the 17th). Guess I can't complain about anything at least I would be rid of BlackBerry... compared to RIM, this little release date thing is minor.

TitansJonne I had a question one of my friends works at a Best Buy since I pre-ordered would he be able to get the phone for me or do Employees have to wait?

Getting for your guys price would save me $400 as I'm going to pay full retail.

From what I'm hearing. We don't have to wait. We can buy on launch date. Having him buy it for you is cool but know it could cost him his job. From what I saw. The employee price is 404.25.
