ya i still don't get why that ad was in spanish. no way mexico sells more vz phones than the us. if it wasnt on vz's youtube i'd think a hs student made it.

Mobile World Congress, a major industry event, starts February 14 in Barcelona, Spain. I think the commercial was made for that audience, not Mexico.

My two theories: (1) It wasn't supposed to be released until next week and someone finally realized it. (2) They want to update it to say "Coming Soon" instead of "February".

BMX is a network engineer and test guy for Verizon. He tests these phones for a living so I'd bet he's quite the insider.

I've never seen any photos or future news posted by him, so that wasn't clear to me. I guess for now I'll take everyones word for it, and I hope to see him posting some good news or inside info previous to ever hearing it anywhere else.

Incorrect. They never said it would be March and they have given other timeframes.

The Verizon reps at the CES stated a March release date. VZ never came out
with anything stating a Feb or 14, 24th, or even 28th as a released date. Everything
was leaked or a leaked photo. But, vz never say a released date, now they just
shown a video n Spanish that say Feb

Although I wouldn't say it's likely, it's still within the realm of possibility that Best Buy may go ahead and release the phone on the 14th, especially if this delay is due to Verizon Wireless iPhone hysteria and not some kind of TB supply issue. Not likely, but possible!
