Probably so. If my math is correct, the countdown clock will hit 0 at 5:30 AM on 2/15 Eastern Time. That's 11:30 PM on 2/14 in Spain, where MWC is being held.
if the thunderbolt launches after mwc there is a great chance many people wont buy it
+1, depending on the timeframes for releases...
if tmo shows off something thats coming out almost immediatly i might forget what a thunderbolt is
I think it's all our fault for bothering all those VZ reps with the chat. I bet VZ is like all these people are really into the TB. Lets hype this up a bit. "THE TB IS BEING PUSHED BACK" "BB:TB WILL BE OUT ON THE 14th" "VZ:TB COMING SOON" "VZ:TB PUSHED BACK" You sick sons of B*tches!
Verizon just sent me a stupid email for the damn iPhone just a second ago.... MAKE IT STOP!

Everyone does realize that VZW has never said any release date, aside from Q1 at CES, right ? Everything else has been speculation.
I don't understand how people can be so irrationally ticked off, claiming VZW / HTC are screwing this up, forcing them to buy iPhones, going to lesser quality carriers out of spite, lighting your grandma on fire, etc. Aside from the very small percentage of customers that are regulars on this site/forum, normal folks don't even know this phone is coming out, or again, only know via CES that it's out sometime in Q1.
Regarding the Tweet from HTC: "Big things are happening." Sure sounds like tablet announcements will be heard at MWC in Spain soon.
htc is like well verizon is dropping the ball, we are moving on to promote phones that carriers will actually release!
In some instances, if it hasn't launched yet, the OEM isn't allowed to advertise it. Yeah, it's HTC's phone, but in all-reality it's Verizon's phone. HTC made it to Verizon's specifications and sold it to Verizon, and they have final say on release and pricing.
