But if I disabled all the Verizon branded bloat, I can't use My Verizon (I like to check my data usage, even though I have unlimited lol). What Verizon branded bloat can I disable and still have My Verizon work?

PS: I'm willing to use a third party data-monitor app and freeze all this Verizon mold :/

I disabled all of it accept my Verizon and it works just fine. Not sure why you are having a problem.

I am also unable to get My Verizon to work on my S3. Have had two tickets open with them and have heard nothing back. I tried running the program before I loaded apps onto the phone, it didn't work.

Are you using the widget? Have you attempted to un install the app and reinstall it? I had a problem with My Verizon on my Razr Maxx when the ICS update was pushed out. Then Verizon updated the app and it started working again all be it without the automatic update feature. It has worked from day one on my s3.

I figured it out! You cannot freeze Verizon SSO Engine. Its doesn't appear in the app drawer anyways.

You guys realize that ICS has "Data Usage" built in? You can limit the data, have it alert you, and you can view by application as well. So far it has been accurate for me.

Yes ICS can track data natively but do you think Verizon is going to go by the one in ICS? It is the users responsibility to monitor their data usage but if you ever need to argue usage I think you would be better served by using their app to base your case on. There is a disclamer on the one built into ICS that speaks to this. I am lucky enough to still be riding the unlimited data wave so i have not been tracking my data usage i may compare the app to the phone just to see if there is a difference.
