The Pixel 2's rounded corners disappear in screenshots.

Hey, All....

I noticed something interesting. If I take a screenshot of my home screen, the screenshot has "traditional" square corners and reveals parts of the image/screen that are normally obscured by the rounded corners.

So, the screen must not actually crop that info/data out, it's just not shown on the screen.

Pretty sure the new POLEDs from LG are just like the ones from Samsung, meaning the corners aren't actually rounded, it's just the glass on top masking the sharp corners. On the G6 the corners had aliasing because the display itself was rounded, but the 2xl doesn't have that.

This is the norm -- other phones do the same. They don't keep a curve in screenshots.
