The Pixel 4 XL Battery Test according to this review isn't too bad.

Really wanted to out it to the test without any charge just to see. Def getting better battery than the pixel 3 xl. I have motion sense turned on and I have 90hz refresh rate on. The only thing I don't use is the always on screen. Other than that everything else is turned on.
No that's pretty good for some heavy usuage

I wonder if I don't track workouts how much it will improve. Maybe I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Right now I'm at 5% battery left with 5hrs and 27mins SOT.
It should improve
My 1+7pro with 4000mah battery 90hz all the time I leave it gets 1 day about 6 to 7 SOT

I think the battery stuff was blown out of proportion. I had 5 hours of screen on time and was at 43% battery remaining. I'd have 6-7 hours screen on time easily if I had time to push it. That's more than enough for me...
I agree I think the tech reviewed were blown away with the iPhone 11 which BTW should not be compared 100% bc it's a different OS. Should really be compared to other Android devices IMHO.

I have the Pixel 4 XL and Note 10+ and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The Pixel 4 XL does not even come close to the battery life of the Note 10+ or the 11 Pro Max. I am getting on average 5-6 hours SOT on the P4 XL...not bad.
But the Note 10+ gets about 7-8 hours SOT easily. The P4 XL battery gets me through the day. But would have to top it off if for heavy use.

How's the iPhone 11 pro max compared to the Note 10+ battery wise?

15 hrs since it's been off charger with 55% remaining. Went to work, then spent 3 hrs at the gym using bluetooth and wifi. At work, I was on wifi a bit too. I have a screen on time of 2:28 minutes.

Sounds like you need a job if you have that much free time at work to be on your phone.

I'd love to see your usage stats. I'm getting way less screen on time, but obviously tons of variables play into battery life... Thanks.
Alright gets the update. Charged the phone to 100% and here's the results. Like I said tonight was mostly texting, Facebook, web, etc.

When I went to bed last night around 9 pm my 4XL was at 42%. I woke up around 6 am.

Never touched a charger all day, aside from 2 10 minute drives to and from work when it was plugged in for Android Auto.

Sounds like in real world usage, P4 XL is falling way behind.
