Good Lord, that thing is massive. Having a band that thick under my wrist would drive me nuts.

I agree...don't think it would be comfortable at all when resting your arm on a table or at a desk, but this will stimulate interest in the Gear S which I always believed should be marketed as a wrist cuff communicator rather than a smartwatch. I've preordered the Gear S and I think the display will kill will i am device. Ought to be a hot item for the holidays!

Ha, you guys are so harsh. I actually like the idea of a cuff bracelet, but would like it more if it's way thinner, has a larger display screen wrapped around the wrist, like a Wonder Woman bracelet, but more against the skin. Samsung recently announced their breakthrough rollable and flexible battery, also recently the Chinese developed a 30 day lithium battery, and with Samsung's Youm flexible display screen technology, my dream wearable may come sooner than later.

I commend anyone who tries to innovate and create new products. But did they test market the prototype? All kidding aside, I am very open to new, odd, and large "watches"...but this thing. Not a chance. Emo people might buy it.
