The S7 doesn't like the cold.

I went to the gym this morning and left my S7 in my car. It was -11 F outside, so it was a bit nippy out. It's only a short drive so the inside of the car didn't warm up much. When I finished an hour later and went home I noticed my phone was off. It powered back on with no problems and works great as usual. It must just shut down at a certain temperature.

Had to Google it because my brain doesn't work in Farenheit. -24°C. That's cold.

It was -27 F or -32.7 C on Sunday. If it's not windy it's not to bad. It's a dry cold. :-)

It's possible the device works, but the display won't at cold temps.

No, it was shut off. It went thru the power up screens after I hit the power button. I'm going to make sure I don't forget it in the car when it's below 0 F from now on. I did let it sit for a bit before I turned it on to let it warm up a little bit.
