The slide up for google now / quick memo feature

Are their any apps / or config settings that I'm missing that allow one to either configure or disable this? Ideally I can configure it to have my own few quick apps, then I wouldn't also need swipepad application. If I can't configure it though... can I just disable it?

FYI: I'm not rooted.

Hi. Unfortunately there is no option to edit or remove this feature. ^DT
