The status bar of my phone's battery is stuck to 50%.It won't charge nor discharge.

As I said in the title the status bar for my battery is stuck at 50% and it won't change.
The life of the battery is pretty much the same as usual but it won't be displayed.
I tried the reboot, I wiped the cache and I even did the reset to factory settings and nothing has changed. It's just stuck there. The red and green leds work fine it's only the status bar for the battery. I even tried to recalibrate the battery but it's a Huawei Honor 6 and I cannot take the battery out.

It may be something to do with the gubbins that reports the charge, which I expect is in the battery, or near it.
