AC Question

Ever since the upgrade, my phone has been doing some weird things like turning off the wifi, automatically starting programs in the background that never happened before. My main gripe with the upgrade is my precious sd card is now being told its 'corrupted' and won't let me access it unless I format it (which i refuse to do) there has to be a way around it. I removed the card, restarted and rrinserted with no luck. Even did the hard reset as if my phone froze and nothing. PLEASE help. I have word docs and spreadsheets i need to access!

Okay. Welcome as a new member. :)
I'll move the thread to that forum for greater visibility.

Im going to cry. Nothing is fixing this thus far

Had this problem last year, the only solution was to buy a new card. I was able to copy all of the data to the computer and then copy it to the new card. Everything worked fine with the new card. I don't know what happened, but the update process locked the card as read-only and I could not find any way to change it back.

This is a good reason to spend the extra dollar or two for a SanDisk card - they'll replace cards that phones make unusable. (They actually modified their own technology to fix a Samsung error with the S3, so their cards would work on the S3 when Samsung's own cards wouldn't.)
