Lool have no clue just love this theme, but the contact icon box was jacked up to me in contacts and SMS, also I love the separator in the steel theme so I added that too just don't know how to re-sign.

I noticed the same thing with the .pro files instead of .png. Weird choice by LG. This will make theming a little harder. Altering apk's becomes a pain too.

I won't have time to do any work on themes until next year so if anybody wants to pick up where I left off on the gingerbread theme you are more than welcome.

It needs:
-gingerbread themed menu (the menu when you press the menu button)
-fixed MMS contact backgrounds found in framework-res.apk

Easy stuff, I am just swamped atm.

Also if anyone has ported themes I will throw them up on the OP. Just please send me a PM.

I've used both the gingerbread and steel my elegance, liked both of them. Good job porting them. Thank you. My only thing is the battery symbol in the status bar doesn't show the percentage in mine. It shows when it is plugged in but not the numbers.

I didn't port the full battery meter in the status bar. But hey, glad you like it!

New to the Optimus but not to picking apart an Android phone. I'm stuck at flashing the de-odex theme. I get:

Installing update
E: error in de-odex.sh
(status 65280)
E:failure at line 4:
run_program PACKAGE: de-odex.sh
Installation aborted

I tried re-downloading the de-odex file a few times in case it was a bad download.

Right, that's probably because your are already de-odex'd. I'm going to update the shell script in the zip real quick so it won't error out when .odex files don't exist. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Check out my OP in a few minutes for an updated theme template.

Thanks. However, all i have done so far is root and install the recovery, no roms, no themes, nothing like that. So already being de-odexed didn't come to mind. I'll try the updated theme template when it's up.
