There's a call volume icon and I'm not in a call, how can I get rid of it?

There's a call volume thing and im not in a call

Why is there a call volume thing when I try to put up the volume I can't take photos or videos or even play music I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 inches HELP!

Welcome to Android Central! If you're not in a call, and you're not using an app that is playing media, then the Volume buttons control the Ringtone volume. What does this have to do with taking photos or videos? Are you trying to use the Volume button as the shutter release in the Camera app? What happens when you try to play music?
