Oh great, now the blogosphere will blow up.... Thunderbolt delayed by VZW because it causes tumors..... I can see it now.

LOL.. I actually am expecting the 4G LTE antenna to be found to cause horrible things![]()
What these horrible things are I am not sure, but if it turns my hair orange I am going to sue.

Okay, after a few beers with a buddy, who is a network engineer at Verizon (not VZ wireless), I am issuing a mea culpa. We did not discuss the Unicorn, because this guy does infrastructure, not devices, and is as clueless as we are about this phone. But we discussed the company culture, who might know what, how information flows, and I can now believe, maybe, that Bennnnnnnnnnnn is who he says he is. I didn't figure a financial analyst would be privy to such info, but this guy says it's possible, especially at the mothership in Jersey.
I'm not saying I believe any of Bennnnnnnnnnnn's info is accurate, but now I at least can fathom that he is speaking from the heart and not necessarily out the other end. That is, I think that *he thinks* it's accurate, so in that case, I'm grateful that he's sharing with us.
Thank you, Bennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn...
You'd be surprised what we financial analysts know (no, I don't work for VZW, but I'm an analyst for a different international company). After all, it's our job to manage future investments, determine ROI models, calculate projected returns on upcoming products and services, and find ways to maximize income from each product we sell in any way possible... It would be rather hard to do all that if we didn't know any specific details about a product that would be launching in a week's time, don't you think?![]()
haha yea... "Delays in Thunderbolt and speculation release dates have caused massive panic across internet forums, causing multiple threads to develop stretching thousands of posts. Poor readers that failed to get into the threads at the beginning and having to read the span of the entire thread end up with terrible headaches which doctors are now saying causes tumors. This new medical phenomenom is being diagnosed as "Thunderboltencephalitis," and should not be taken seriously. When doctors at the Mayo Clinic were questioned about the new mystery illness, most responded with 'take a few deep breaths, get up and walk away from your computer or phone for a few minutes, and return to reality. If this doesn't work, a simple aspirin should do."
!
LOL @ waiting/reading for the Bolt causing tumors.
I'll be at the Mayo Clinic at the end of the month, seriously. I'll make sure to ask the doctors if the aspirin will work, because I'm not walking away from my computer until an official release date is made.
You could always take a break from the computer and stand in front of the tv and wait for the commercial. I multi task and do both.![]()
Chrisy, the droid incredible for $20?? Where.. I've been thinking of getting one just to hold me out![]()
