I have the $9.99 promo on 10 lines. I pray that nothing changes as far as 3G goes. If they are charging extra for 4G I hope the treat it like an add on item and the existing plan stays the same.

If they can throttle speeds of 4G then I would assume that when you order it they can shut 4G off and allow you just 3G.

me too. If its an add-on and I can keep the $10 promo, I'd consider up to $10 extra per line. Otherwise, I won't be buying the TB. :'(

I'm not trying to sound rude but why do people keep bring up June - July as possible release months for the TB. I thought release date speculation was already reduced down to possibly no later than end of March maybe early April.

I mean if VZW already worked the release of the TB around the iProducts that just came out why would they delay it all the way till the next iPhone is supposed to be announced/released.

Again not trying to be rude just trying as much as possible to use some common sense to not fill up the thread with "I read its not going to be released till June!!!"

I want this phone as bad as everybody in here but at the end of the day its still just a phone that will come and go and as the great Jay-Z would say "On to the Next one"

When the storm 1 came out I was right there at 5 AM Nov. 21st waiting for this phone. And maybe a year later I went to the Tour and my once very anticipated Storm was in the hands of my 2 year old as a toy (I hated that phone so it deserved some torture for the frustration it put me thru).

Its not to say this phone (TB) will face the same fate but like anything else they come and go so I wanna just say everybody chillax and enjoy life's finer things. Thanks for your time!

I never said tiered pricing was definite. There are many options being considered.

I don't understand how a company could get to the point of publicly announcing and marketing a new network, and then producing and shipping a new phone to accompany it -- yet -- pricing options are still "being considered."

I still find it weird they had "Wed, Mar 16" as the date on the phone itself.

No way that's just some random date they threw in there.

As I said in some earlier post in this thread, as far as I know the first planned release date was in fact March 17th. I remember this because miami1683 posted a comment on one of the front page articles stating something along the lines of: "march 17th for the Thunderbolt and April 23rd-29th for the Bionic. Mark your calendars."

The HTC commercial has been airing since the week of February 20th, so that wouldn't make sense.

March is the month this "making of" video was edited and published to the web.

REALLY SINCE FEB??? i live in the bay area i havent noticed it till last week and have only seen it a few times actually only seen TBOLT commercials less than 10 times and there is 3 or 4 of them

I saw it once on February 23rd on Comedy Central. There's even a thread on these forums posted that same week about the commercial. Interestingly I saw the HTC commercial only after VZW pulled its own commercials.

Well, if the rumors are true that the phone is available on Mar 17, with Best Buy getting it a day early since all the pre-order peeps out there got the royal shaft during the whole Feb 14 fiasco, then March 16 would be the official "launch" day of this phone since people will be able to start purchasing it on that date
