I've been thinking about this whole 17th or 21st release dates. I'm beginning to think that they will be offered at Verizon stores on the 17th and at Best Buy stores on the 21st. I know that BB has a national retail exclusive for this phone. But I dont see Verizon letting someone else sell this phone before they do. What do you guys think??

I spoke with Bennnn via pm and maybe I over-reacted a bit. But I have had this phone pre-ordered for 6 weeks and this 1 more week thing and soon is making me sick at this point. And for the record, I have 10 accounts with Verizon with my business so maybe they won't miss my business but I have been loyal for 9 years and for them to cater to Apple like they have is just ridiculous. They won't come out and say anything regarding this phone, price, data plan costs, release date, nothing!! I mean, what if we all wait for 2 or 3 more weeks and the data price is ridiculous? They I will have waited 8 weeks for a phone that is just simply not worth the money it will cost to own it, let alone 10 of them. That is my point, I am just tired of of the soon and 1 more week comments. You can only listen to that for so long before you need to just realize its a phone and move on. I bet they wouldn't tell Jobs or Apple 1 more week!! They would bend over and say thank you sir, and they have proved that the last 2 months!!

I think the writing is on the wall. BB not having the T-Bolt in their ad next week (VZW probably gave them a release date this time) and what was said by the VZW contact to whom Droid Life spoke?

This is no coincidence. We may be waiting until the 21st or even the 24th, especially if we don't hear more insider info as soon as Saturday or Sunday. When a launch this big occurs, people know well in advance that they'll be pulling double duty shifts and for what reason. The iPad 2 launch is way too close for a humanly feasible T-Bolt launch on the 17th.

So new member, long time lurker. Been keeping up to date on this novel and the Thunderbolt will be my first android device, pretty excited, but now getting really frustrated. I'm hearing the 21st thrown around a lot and with that annoncement by BGR, it is pretty much solid now. That's what that guy has done for years and why he has all the street creds he does. I know he botched the 24th, but I think that was really verizon and not him. Is anyone else feeling like the 17th is now a no go? I know it's only 4 extra days, but jeez uss... thamadness! Hey Bennnnn, did you get any new updates as far as the 17th goes today? Thanks for letting me join in on the fun!

More than likely there's a mess at VZW over the iPad2. Ben5 did say that he had a lot of paperwork to do last night.

Assuming a 17th launch, don't expect a peep about the weather from VZW until after Friday.

Yea but some have already suggested that it was just the normal progress of the ad since the ads are predetermined some time out. So doesn't matter if it was released or not the ad just wasn't scheduled to be out this week anyway

not being rude and I know I'm a newbie, but for a flagship phone, they would and will have the ads running
