I'm a firm believer that Verizon and HTC both know what they're doing with these "leaks".

This "deafening silence" argument is old now; along with the whining like a child.

Put yourself in their shoes: you're working on a new technology and you're not entirely sure when it'll be 100% ready to go live, how can you give a specific date for a release? Sure it would be nice to hear "we're working on issues," but that's not exactly great for business - admitting there are issues with your brand new piece of technology.

Stop whining like little children and sit back and wait like the rest of us. I want a Thunderbolt too, but whining and getting all anxious about it isn't going to make it get released any sooner. It'll be released when everything is ready.

As much as I hate to say it, your logic is true....what can they really do? That is.....if they don't really know!

I agree that verizon and HTC know about the leaks, but I don't think this HTC guy was really supposed to let that tweet fly. It's just going to cause a ton more headaches for them until they announce the release of this phone. SO I think the 17th is going to be the day as well. Like I said before, the date never changed. Its always been March 17th. This has just been one huge PR blunder after another.

It's funny, now that it's looking more and more like the 17th is going to be the date, the thread is slowing down. I know it's a Friday night, but still, you would think it would be a little bit busier.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the week of the 21st. I think it will be either the 21st or 24th. Don't flame, that's just my thinking.

everyone has put all there energy an time into this place already, there really isnt anything to talk about lol. just casual talk, an mods want us to stay on topic but its just hard wen we no pretty much everything about this thing, except a release date. over the last week its been so busy i couldnt keep up so i just poked my head in here an there just to stay up to date on things. but no info has changed lol

I watched the most recent episode of CSI and saw at least two ads for the TB. They are still out there. I mostly see them when I'm watching prime time TV.

I think after the faux pas by HTC, Verizon may very well announce this thing on Monday just to avert all the calls/tweets/questions, but who knows. That's what I would do, but they are known for announcing phones on a Tuesday.
