Don't know if it relevant to this TB thread but Verizon's website has a new "Free overnight shipping if you buy online" banner that just popped up.

AFAIK that has always been the case, as long as your order goes through before 4:00pm local time.

Am I reading way too much into him underlining later tonight? Could there be hope for an announcement yet tonight? Surely not, right?????

When I first saw that, I was hoping it had something to do with the Baltimore event I heard about tonight...

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but there is a great thread on Droid Forums from a guy who has had a demo unit since yesterday. No B.S., pics and all. Great review. Loving the fact that he is not having any battery issues at all!

Sorry if this is old info but I have been on this forum all day and haven't seen it referenced.

Thats because they are trying to get rid of all their Droid phones. Verizon did do a nice price cut on their Droids. Very unlikey it has anything do to with the TB.

I thought I heard from others that he's running it on 3G since he's not in a LTE area. So of coarse there's not going to be any battery issue's. Smart of Verizon to release a phone and let him post to a forum, especially if he's running 3G since that might get over looked by majority of users!

Also, if I'm wrong on the 3G thing my bad

Your right. Also he needs the LTE SIM Card just to use the 3G as well.

Some of the regulars here got big in the pants from it and signed up over there to ask the guy more questions. We need patience... or more to drink (I'm taking this route)

No, Youi're right, he hasn't tested it on 4G yet. I guess I'm just overly optimistic. After waiting this long for the phone I'm hoping the battery won't be tooooo bad.

only an hour until th AC Livecast! lets get our repetitive Tbolt questions ready to ask the guys! :D

It is what it is, in regards to the Battery! But, I'm guessing most people will shut off 4G unless they are doing alot of Data so they put less strain on the Battery. Now when they can do voice over LTE then they( phone companies) better find a solution to the battery issues thats going on with the phones.

am i missing something here? i thought most of HTC phones until now had battery issues on 3G.. i think no battery issue on 3G w/ TB is actually a real good news..

He is not having any battery issues....and please correct me if I am wrong, I believe he changed his screen brightness to 25% and is not in a 4G zone.

You can clearly control a lot of battery usage for Android phones and it is required. The easiest way is to change the screen brightness. On my Eris I have my screen set to 60% and I really cant tell. Also to remove all haptic feedback is huge, especially if your a big texter.
