hey guys hello

just u would like to know that i just talked a vzw rep and he told me that he was told that the T-bolt would be out before April assuming there r no problems

After watching the videos again and playing with my friends OGdroid I have to just straight up buy the Tbolt when it hits the store.. decision made finally.

I have to be honest, I just don't see the tbolt coming this week. As much as I want it to there is just to much to fit into one week, they have to announce it, take preorders and release it. Between Monday and Thursday that is a lot to fit in there. I guess we will know in 2 days or so

It's really not that much...most of the leg work has been done by the forums for promotion. The ads can pop up on internet and TV with basically the push of a button, and pre-orders Tuesday or Wednesday for a Thursday release. Shipping overnight is the norm.

the only problem with that theory is that they do not have to take pre-orders... there have been several VZ phones released without offering them.

They did the same exact thing for the XOOM and it went well.

I finally got to try one out tonight, i'm a little disappointed with it though....I am a huge apple hater and my friends new iPad 2 he got tonight was much more snappier :( XOOM seemed sluggish to me...

Played with the Xoom and iPad 2 at Verizon earlier today and wasn't really impressed by either. The iPad was definitely a lot smoother but just didn't do it for me.

For some reason I had it stuck in my head that the bolt was going to be a real game changer for Verizon and that they would market the daylights out of it...but won't be complaining if it quietly launches this week....

Thats exactly what i thought, i mean i could use either one as my internet browser to replace my laptop (which takes forever anymore) but thats all i used the laptop for, nothing more than that.

The iPad was tons smoother, the XOOM, i think the software just isn't up to snuff yet, it is the first tablet version of the OS.

I did like the screen on the XOOM alot better than the iPad's though, oddly enough...

well it does have a higher resolution at 1280X800 and higher aspect ratio at 16:10.

Angry Birds on that screen was quite impressive. Not $599 with a 2yr contract impressive though. I kept asking myself what it could do that my phone couldn't and just couldn't come up with anything.

I got to try out 3 new devices today: iPad 2, XOOM, and HTC Inspire 4G. The download and upload speeds were pitiful.
at&t flooded that phone with crapware and removed most of the good stuff, hardly any HTC sense apps, they even removed HTC's Locations, Footprints and HTC Maps. HTC Hub and HTC Likes were actually still intact on the device.
couldn't try out the HUB since it wasn't signed in or registered. The screen is very nice though, its almost as good as the AMOLED on my Incredible.

I even got to try out a WP7 phone (eh, the UI sucks AND IS boring)
and a NEXUS S, the screen is gorgeous

Has anyone seen this yet?

I for one am glad its a much better dock than the Incredible got last year

The screen on the box lends more credence to the fact we may still get HTC Maps (htc's instant map navigation thats part of HTC Locations) and if not, theres still ROOT to get us that navigation :P
