the kickstand will feel much better on the production model. the kickstand on the dummy units is made of a cheap material that won't reflect the final metal kickstand.

I just seen the benchmarks for the new ipad which has the A5, so I am assuming the new iphone will also have it and with all these delays they are getting into the iphone 5's "time frame" you might say. I have a feeling that the phone has been pushed back so many times now and the new iphone right around the corner, although not 4g its still outsells every single phone out there. Verizon is screwing HTC and every droid manufacturer the longer they delay this thing but I am kinda wondering if that is exactly what they are intending on doing. The new A5 blows the thunderbolts quadrant scores away and honestly I don't think we will see the Thunderbolt this week yet again. I am not trying to be negative here, but I just don't see them releasing the phone, even if they announce it tomorrow with only 4 days lead time. I think HTC's comment was to tide over customers because of the tweet leaked out earlier that day. There has been absolutely no proof or leaks what so ever that the phone will be out this week. Yes, Bennnnn said it would, but he also said their would be unlimited 4G for 30 bucks which of course isn't going to happen. So my only real question is, has Bennnnn actually given us ANY info that we haven't seen or heard elsewhere? I mean, the prices was hinted at weeks ago so that was really nothing that anyone else couldn't have posted. He can't give us an exact date, he just says he EXPECTS it to be the 17th because he hasn't heard anything different. But I will bet either tomorrow or Tuesday he will be back on saying that there is another delay. It the phone was going to come out Thursday like he says, we would have seen some kind of leaked info by now. Shipping stuff, employee leaks or something. We have NOTHING!! So I honestly think Thursday will come and go and still no Thunderbolt. In the meantime you have Apple who is probably laughing knowing that the longer this phone gets delayed, the closer they are getting to launching their new phone. I just think that Verizon absolutely HAS to release this phone this week come hell or high water or they are going to be in real trouble, especially since their are 3 more phones right behind it ready to go. Unfortunately, I don't see it dropping again this week. I hope like hell I am wrong but I highly doubt I will be. Even the pm that Bennnn and I exchanged, he even mentioned that if the phone doesn't launch this week, it will be worth the wait, so in the back of his own mind I kind of think he agrees and just don't want to say it yet again. Just too add, This was stated on the Best Buy Mobile facebook page as well as my call to the 888 best buy number.

The phone will sell for $299 without a preorder. If you preordered it will be $249.99 then they will minus the $50 gift card which leaves you with the balance of $199.99 + tax (tax is charged based off the $249 price).

Now my best buy in staten island, ny has also confirmed they will honor my $50 verizon rebate/discount for my upgrade, so it should only cost me, $149.99 + tax. (some have said that each best buy may not honor the verizon rebate if you are eligable for an upgrade so check with your store)

i disagree with you on one part, I think we will see it this week. if they announce on monday morning, they have mostly 4 days until thursday. with twitter, facebook, tv, and internet ads they can advertise enough in 4 days to sell this phone to the public.

I'm with you. I don't expect this phone this week. I'm think the very end of this month or even the first few weeks of April. I, like you, would love to get struck by lightning this week and have the phone.
