I think that was sarcasm!! Verizon probably has a thousand Ben's that work for them. And nowadays with the ease of using proxy's, its very hard for anyone to trace you if you don't want to be traced.

I don't know... there may be a lot of Ben's working for VZW, but it narrows it down when you say Ben the Corporate Financial Analyst. He also goes on to say that he can't give a date away in fear of job security, but then goes on to deliver a pretty easy to crack code telling when the release date is.

I would also imagine (if this were me) that I would post that I'm a financial analyst when I'm actually a (fill in the blank).

There, I think doing all of that would cover my a$$, unless he signed in with fake name at library and the library has video of who signed in at that time, in which case I hope he/she wore a disguise.

Interesting that you guys are just seeing this now. Is this the normal lead time? I think you kind of alluded to that in your message.. but with previous phone releases (such as the iPhone 4 being the recent example) has the notification to your group come in a similar fashion?

I am pretty sure this phone launch is not normal in the fact that they said March and then internally decided to try and push it up for hype and ran into many issues. Therefore they had to "delay" their internal early goal back to a more realistic march time frame. So I am pretty sure there has not been a hard release date until now being that the phone is finally ready for prime time and they can now prepare.

Yes, this is a familiar routine with phones we've released in the past except the iPhone 4 which was expedited.
