so is vz going to charge the additional 10.00 for 4g like sprint is? i had sprint for like 5 days, they charged 10 bux a month additional for 4g and i wasnt even receiving any 4g service lol. is vz going to do the same thing?

No new news once again. We have heard every excuse possible. On another thread someone had called and spoke with HTC this morning and they said that Verizon has had the phones for over a month now. Sort of make you wonder why they aren't in the stores by now?

You need to relax... its a phone we all want no doubt about it....Your Language is not appreciated.... bennnnnnn dont have to tell us anything and he is giving us all some insight of what going on.... if it wasnt for people like him we would all be in the dark until the phone actaully comes out.. i have a Storm 1 which just gave out a fews days ago so im forced to carry a nextel around and trust me its one ugly beast... so any info bennnnnnn can give us to help out is much appreciated.....

Hahaha yea that was my first post and I received an infraction, oh well. At this point I'm beyond frustrated. I've been following this launch since day 1 of pre-orders. Bb has had my money for almost a month and not even a peep. Funny thing is...I've had an iPhone since 07 with ATT and at this point why bother with this junk. ATT works great for me but I want this dang phone!

I've been following this phone since it was called the HTC Scorpion back in August/September/October. I am getting antsy, sure, but not nearly as emotional as many people who only know the device as the 4G Thunderbolt (the Scorpion/Mecha were 3G before December).

There's no excuse for anyone to lose oneself in the moment. So, let's all just take it easy, play some ball, watch some 30 Rock, and go to sleep. I bet we will hear some amazing news as early as 10AM EST tomorrow.

You know guys, personally, I think Bennnnn is doing the best he can with the info that he is given. Too many people in here are trying to kill the messenger.

I know the frustration, I returned my Fascinate so that I didn't have to keep it and am using a totally trashed, beat to hell LG Envy right now. I would really like to have the new phone in my hands right now. But, abusing the guy who is at least keeping us informed is not going to help. Right now I think we have more true information than any other forums or place so let's not lose that by making it so miserable for him in here that he doesn't want to come back. It may not be what we want to hear but that's not his fault.

My director just left his meeting and has a little info on the subject.

Apparently, as we speak, they are building stock of Thunderbolts in warehouses across the country, and until Verizon is given the green light where they feel they have enough supply to meet the demand of the customers, THEN they will announce this device and give us a concrete launch date. We are also trying to push our last Droids ($100 discount) into consumers hands before the launch of this revolutionary device. I was told we are VERY close to being 100% ready for launch, and it seems that all that is truly left to do is finish up stockpiling devices and then the announce the HTC Thunderbolt! We should hear something ANY day now, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we heard something tomorrow since there was a scheduled announcement today which they missed. Anyways, we are very close guys. The Thunderbolt is coming, and it's lightning fast 4G LTE speeds are going to be in your hands VERY soon. Rule the air.

You are right, you are entitled to your opinion and so are others. Respect them and they will respect you. More importantly respect the ones that choose not to see such foul language. And this coming from a former active duty member. But once a Marine always a Marine. Remember your core values devil dog.

Edit: And all is forgotten. We enjoy the warm input of new members. If you haven't already be sure to check out the forum rules and policies. The T Bolt forums can get a little hectic but I'm sure its nothing you can't handle =)

Probably just want to feel secure with the stock they have prior to announcing the release date.. you know, in case they decide they need to push it back again.

I thought the same thing. Maybe HTC is still assembling the last of them before final shipment. (first shipment)
