These questions can only be answered when the retail version of the phone hits a reviewer's hands.

i agree with you on some level, though i've seen him even say that netflix and certain cloud services will be available.
and these are things we didnt know about, we only knew skype this and skype that on tbolt. but he did come in and say it will have netflix and cloud based services too.

hehe.. my tbolt info-meter is low on new info and is trying to repair any unsure previous info.

Like many others here, I am losing my patience with Verizon. I have been a with them for more years than I care to admit. They have been the only cell carrier I have had. Having said that, if I don't hear something soon from them on the release of the TB, I will be taking all 5 of my lines to another carrier. I mean come on, this isn't rocket science. Quit dangling the carrot in front of us and then keep delaying the release.

As much as this release aggravates me too, it's not worth leaving them over; unless there is another carrier in your area with equal service. I know around where I live/work, Verizon is the only carrier worth having (not to mention I get a 21% discount through my employer).

I switched to T-Mobile for the G1, because of Verizon's astoundingly crappy phone selection at the time and the service was mediocre at best. Just learn to have some more patience and wait it out like the rest of us.

I agree, it's not worth leaving a carrier to me. I'm currently in a place where all 3 major carriers (Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon) get about the same type of coverage, but leave St. Louis and St. Charles counties and Verizon is the only carrier that gets any service.

A ton of people at my church have iPhones (with AT&T) and whenever we have our harvest fest or anything else that requires going further north or west into Missouri, my wife and I are the only ones that ever have service. So if a freak accident were to happen during one of our outings, we'd be the ones that would have to call for help.

That's one of the reasons why I'm switching over to Verizon. I will get a government discount and the reception is excellent in the area I live and work in.

I'm sorry, but I can no longer trust Bennnnn. I defended him at the beginning, but my sanity can no longer handle these hints towards announcements that prove to be false (i.e. Thursday, and then late last night). Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Not trying to start a flame war, but I just don't want you guys to keep getting disappointed. At this point, I would like some riddles just for the hell of it, but I am not going to believe anything else about this phone until it is in my hands.

Just remember about Bennnnn.. he's not in a position where he CONTROLS the release of the announcement or the phone... he's simply privy to that information. Since the people that DO control the release of that information can change that at any time, Bennnn is just a consumer of that information and thus there is a lag between when the decision is made and when he may get wind of it.

If we base "trust" on "right" then do you trust BMX less now too? Yes, he alluded to March in his poem a while ago, but he also confirmed 2/24. Does that mean we can't trust him either?

Bennnnn has been verified by mods here. He's relaying info he has gotten from people that know. If things change, he doesn't necessarily know that, and even if he did hear things, he's under no obligation to relay anything to us. You can choose what you believe, but he's legit.
