i don't want to keep sounding like i'm sending negative vibe, but let's be real too much rumors and false leaded info. has cause this phone to lose some steam. sure, i acknowledged that this forum is just a faction of anticipated people that want this phone, but there's no much blogging going on with negative impact on this phone.

i really don't care if this phone come out this week or whatever future date, but if a new phone come out before this one, then i'll give the new phone more consideration

Last week the CFO said "the Thunderbolt is launching very shortly." I don't think the CTO means that the device is delayed yet again as much as he means that the whole suite of 4G phones won't be available until Q2.

As much as I'd like to believe it, reality tells me that the ad agency has no idea when the phone will launch and their only job is to create an ad.

I would have to respectfully disagree - I think all of this talk is building up anticipation. Look, you have people on this thread 24/7 all talking about the phone. There's a level of excitement here. I haven't been this excited since New Kids on The Block announced their reunion tour!

I wouldn't worry about it, honestly. They wouldn't have been running commercials or have web pages about the phone on Verizon just to launch the phone 4-5 months later.

Exactly. This fiasco will reach epic proportions if it gets pushed out of March (boycotts, riots, who knows what these TB heads are capable of?!). VZW might as well forget the TB and focus on their other 4G lineup if that happens, because no one will want to touch a device that's been delayed for 3-4 months.

Agreed - if they can't manage to fix what ever the issue is and have the phone released within a couple weeks, they might as well forget it completely and focus on the Bionic and other upcoming phones.

I'm not sure why I continue torturing myself by getting all excited and constantly scouring these threads, as I'm not even eligible for my NE2 upgrade until July 6th and there's no way I'm paying full retail. I even called customer service a few times, explained my excitement for the TB, and asked if they could move my NE2 up so I could get it upon release (I mentioned to them that they had done it for me before under similar circumstances, which they have), but I got shot down every time. All the CSR's said, "Sorry, we're not allowed to do that anymore." One of them was even more specific, saying, "Upon release of the iPhone 4, we were told we aren't allowed to move up the NE2 dates anymore." I'm not even sure what to make of that...coincidence? Or was the release of the iPhone really the cause of the decision for them not to budge on the NE2 upgrade dates anymore? Who knows...

What I DO know is that I'm going to be one jealous guy when you're all playing with your TB's and I'm left in the dust... *cue violin* :'(

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Incredible, but let's be honest...that thing is OLD now!

On NCX's video can anyone make out the dates on the phone at the end of the commercial? Since it has one T-Bolt and then the Slide To another one. I'm just curious to what they are.

This is by far the craziest launch that I have every seen for any one product! This launch will be remembered by all for years to come!
