i think because they posted personal info with the numbers. anyways i called the number they posted up and sure enough. she took down my name and number, said i am on the list and the release date is in fact next thursday. WOW. first time i had anyone tell me that info. said come in and see irene and i am good to go. she said they didnt give her a price but the release date is in fact the 17th lol to bad i live in california lol.

Strange, ain't it. Carrier reps work hard for little pay, and have very evil bosses.

IMO that's enough to deal with without someone posting a phone number to invite harassment.

that's okay that it got shut down, I was one of the last to post on it saying I felt sorry for whomever was actually working tonight that had to deal with all the crap that rained down in a 20 minute time span.

To avoid being yet another caller (although I do still have the number) for those of you that did call, did you get the generic "welcome to verizon wireless" message when you first called? I just want to make sure it was authentic.
