But to stay on topic I called vzw (611) and asked about moving my NE2 date up from may 4 for this phone and a nice girl was totally up for this and even text me her direct number and ext so I could order from her and honor this discount. Needless to say she sounded pretty stoked, even tho she had no date to give me but I told her I had heard the 17th and she giggled as to kind of say DUH, WINNING!!!!!

I usually do something from Flying Dog (local brewery here in MD) Sierra Nevada or Yuengling. I just picked up a Yuengling this weekend so Thursday after work I will be home enjoying the phone and cold ones.

after seeing the equipment guide, i finally pulled the trigger on a seido innocase and screen covers and 1600 mAh battery- all set to arrive thursday

does anybody know of a camera lens protector like the screen protectors to keep the lens from getting scratched?

So, I'm literally one button press away from purchasing two items on amazon.

I wondered the same thing before I ordered mine and from what I can tell its the same form factor as the stock 1400 battery. Don't forget a screen protector. (I got the blue case)

I wonder how big of a difference 1600mAh will make since the standard battery is 1400mAh already. A couple hours maybe??

Once we know battery life, we can tell how much 200mAh adds.

Here's one scenario:

If the 1400mAh battery lasts 8 hours, that's 175mAh used per hour. So less than an hour extra with the 1600mAh, if used the same way.

Apparently those stores already got the units delivered in the first wave of shipments. Others would eventually get them by Wednesday.

I dont want to put a case on the tb and make it bulkier. I want to put Ghost Full Armor on it w/screen protector. Has anyone used the full armor? if so, thoughts..

Good point and thank for your reply. This is why I'm waiting to see how things work out with the standard battery before shelling out even more money.

It's hit or miss. Some people like it, others don't. I've seen some crappy installations and they make me want to scratch my eyes out. Personally, I don't think it looks good on rubbery devices.

I just got off the phone with a verizon Rep getting my main work phone warrantied, and they offered me an early upgrade on the line (which I knew about lol) and I said I would if the thunderbolt was out. She checked her system and claimed Thursday, and offered to call me Thursday morning. Take it for what it is worth, but it is in line with what we are all hearing, no?

I'll be on-site with a customer the entire day on Friday and am hoping to have this phone to use while I'm there. I guess that will be a good first test.

The Seidio cases seem to be really popular. May I ask why people like them so much? I'm coming from a Blackberry and have never used a Seidio case before.

Wait for the larger battery to come out. I used that on my Storms and on my Bold. Not that much bigger and it lasts a couple of days with heavy use. It should be out by April.

A spare battery would be the first "accessory" I would buy. And a car charger. My exwife "borrowed" my car charger for DInc for a day two weeks ago and is not giving it back.

I'll be doing the same thing. I want to see how long the stock battery will last me and hear what people that have the 1600 have to say about it. Hopefully that will give me a good idea of what I need to do. Hopefully, I won't need to get that monster battery, the 2750, or whatever it is.
