That's how I've done my last two smartphones (just put it on my standard monthly VZW account). One time it was over $200 (I was told that was their normal max on one purchase) but they automacally just split it up and put it on two charges (each under $200) without me even asking.

the VZW store i went to a couple weeks ago said u can charge up to $800 on ur account. but that was only if u had ur account current and had been paying it on time with-in 6 months or so.

Just got off work and was happy to hear that the TB was going to come out this Thursday....
But....
Then I lost hope b/c...
I told one of my buddies that works for Verizon to hold one for me on Thursday and he told me that it's still delayed until the 28th...
So I told him about all the things pointing to the 17th and also about wirefly, and he said... the 28th...I HOPE HES WRONG!!! :-(
Ill let you know if he finds out anything more....

When you say over the air? The just auto push it?

Not quite sure what you mean? "The just auto push"

What I mean by "over the air" is that you can update your Firmware
or any other software by simply tapping any of your update
selections while making sure your Phone has any sort of network connection
(3G,4G,Wifi).

Well I called all the stores in Raleigh-Durham, NC and they all say it is definitely coming out on the 17th and each offered to hold one for me...lightening strike!!

I've had mine preordered since ~2/5 and still havent gotten my "call" yet. Oh, I ordered mine from the BB at Crossroads.

I didn't pre order or anything but I know the manager at the Verizon I deal with pretty well and he has guaranteed me all along that when he gets one I will be the first person he calls.

Just read on Engadget that the TB will be able to do voice/data at the same time on Verizon's 3G due to recent upgrades to the network.

One of the biggest reasons for me getting this phone was the video chat through Skype. Engadget also reported that this is no longer an "out of the box" feature, and that the Skype app available only does voice.

Any other video chat apps available that are also compatible for friends/family with iphones?

Does anybody know if/when the TB will get the proper Skype video function?

I believe there is one called Tango, but I too hope skype comes soon, over even a FaceTime app since it is "open".

Yeah, just called our two stores in Florence, KY and they said they haven't heard anything and that if it was going to be here this week they should have received an "advanced shipment notice" by now. It's hard to believe that is true though with all the good news everyone is hearing.

Nice, I'm in Florence too. I stopped by the Verizon store on Mall Road and asked, and the guy I spoke with said he didn't know of anything yet. I also swung by BB on Houston and they didn't know of anything either. Nevertheless, I am staying hopeful for an announcement tomorrow
