These 'Pixel 2 problem!' stories need to stop

Not really having any doubts but wondering if this whole thing with the 2 XL was overblown. I originally had ordered the 2 XL and by the time it arrived at my house I'd already processed the return and immediately put it back in the mail without even opening the box. Lol

You coming back to Android or just testing the waters again? I'm about to return my iPhone X and go back to Android with one of these phones, or an OP5T.

I understand. I like the X, but I definitely don't think it's worth the money. It's a really good phone. The best iPhone ever. But I don't think it's worth $500 more than a comparable Android phone.

It is for sure. But I’m also a sucker for updates and more readily accessible accessories. And I’m not 100% sold on that camera.

That's the biggest drawback to being off iOS... There are accessories everywhere for iPhone locally. Lol

Do you normally grab the local items though? I always go Amazon or whatever. 9/10 I pay less then I do at a retail store so waiting a day or two for it to be delivered to my house hasn't been an issue .

I do. My X is encased in a Speck Presidio Grip that I picked up from my local best buy.

My Pixel 2 is in a Google case that I picked up at that same best buy. Lol

Yeah... It was. Notice how the immense issues that were huge headlines are now just comments in articles... And some video reviews are basically shrugging and saying that they aren't a bad as it was made out to be.

No way I'd want to unload this phone... Using it is a dream. Speed, stability, and using the camera in practice is a dream. My daughter played piano in a play and the little things... Quick shots, stable zoomed in video of bright stage in a dark theater, etc. The thing takes everything I throw at it and nails it without breaking a sweat.

I hear you. I wanted to want the 5T but 6" is too big for my small hands. I was initially set on the OnePlus 5 but as it's now being discontinued, I had to look elsewhere. Now I'm thinking about buying the Pixel 2 next year. Stock Android, gets updates quickly and will always get said updates, and a perfect size of 5".

I've had my Pixel 2 XL 128 for a month and absolutely love it. I have no problems with it whatsoever.

It's a pity that the main problem with the phone gets little to no coverage at all though. Completely unusable phone with car Bluetooth and being told that it won't work unless you go buy a car with 5.0 by Google is absolutely ridiculous. Screw users to try push a few pixel buds.
