Things Improved/Changed with GB

Whoa. Am I supposed to move to Massachusetts? That's where the phone thinks it is. Funny thing though. It's in California with me.

Maps and the clock widget both indicate the wrong location. It's corrected itself a couple times already when this happens but this is a new glitch.

Looks like the factory reset fixed my problems... Now I get that annoying Verizon Mobile force closing now and then... My calendar isn't updating from my facebook anymore though, doesn't even give me an option to use it... Not sure how to fix that but everything else seems better now...

Same thing happened to me wit Verizon Mobile FC, JayDawg. Try going to the market and uninstalling the update. It'll give you a button. That stopped the FCs for me.

Im getting great battery life. After 13 hours I still got 33% left. Screen was on 1.5 hours and gps was running for an hour (runkeeper).

Well last night I was able to set my alarms for this morning, went to bed, woke up late and guess what??? No Alarms!!! And now I can't access them again... Seems like GB doesn't like me lol...

Anyone else notice when in manage applications the space usage calculation is possessed? When I go into it the numbers go haywire for a few seconds then I can do what I need to. I guess it's nothing to major since I can still move/delete apps if need be.

Mine do that, and they come up with the wrong size.

You tap the message then, tap share, then messages. That forwards it.

Another Maps issue. The GPS still cannot accurately locate me. Always 30-50 feet off. It's not putting me in Massachusetts anymore though.

Battery life does seem improved but I've only gone through a couple charge cycles so far.

I just want the damn Gingerbread Keyboard. Why is Sense overriding it? I've been searching for hours...

I don't know if this is directly related to the update, but since the update I can no longer send/recieve picture messages (mms) unless I connect to my 3G network. I was able to send picture messages just fine before the update without being connected to either 3G or my WiFi - I can see all the sent picture messages that I sent while at home(normally have both turned off when not in use).

When I try to send now...it seems like it hangs forever and then finally I get the message: Generic Network Failure - message not delivered after attempts.

If I connect to 3G then they go through just fine.

Not that it matters because I can still do it through 3G but I thought this was odd.

Any suggestions? (I am a new Inc2 user as well as a new smartphone user).

My Talk app will show all my contacts offline. I sign off and sign back on and all my contacts are back online. After a short while all my contacts are unavailable and my talk app shows me online. But it shows me offline on my gfs list. App problem or post GB install problem?

Exchange Sync will not push while roaming. You have to update manually to get your mail. UGh!!! My weather bug elite will not show but one sentence of weather alerts.

I have noticed this as well.

It is a real pain as i like to try to keep things off that I'm not using. It was nice that it would turn on momentarily and then off as it would send and receive MMS, now I have to turn on 3G every time it tries to receive or when I want to send... Lame!

Try this: Keyboard from Android 2.3

Once you enable it, you need to go to a text box and long press in it. Then select input method and choose your keyboard. If you don't, Sense will override your choice from settings>language&keyboard.

I use Swiftkey X, and it rocks!
