Think I bricked my G2, help please?

Hello, I installed a custom rom but didn't like it, when I tried to go back I accidently wiped the phone of everything. I had TWRP installed but the PC wasn't reading the phone. Finally I bought a OTG usb cable and put a rom on the flash drive but when I installed it via TWRP the whole phone went blank and now instead of booting into recovery it just says fastboot mode started udc start. And when I try to enter download mode it lets me then just stays stuck on a firmware update screen with a loading bar that never progresses anywhere. I'm kind of a newbie but I got where I wanted to go without ever having to post anything. But this is the first time I couldn't find any posts with my particular situation. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
