Thinking about picking up Nexus 4.

Thanks guys, doesn't seem to be something that effects everyone. Ordered one today can't wait.

It will affect people who do CPU intensive tasks. Not every app is using all four cores. But games are most likely to IMO.

The heat does not mean it is broken or anything. But the phone can run hot. My Rezound ran very hot as well.

Yes but still we would have paid zilch for one so the issue of not buying one would be out the window because its free.

I don't know what you are speaking of. Is there a deal when you buy 2 that you get a free bumper? I really like the bumper case.

Their is a promotion that gives you a bumper with the purchase of any nexus, black gives you the matching color bumper, white gives you white bumper (limited edition, can only get it with the white N4).
My issue is that i bought the phone with a bumper a day or two before the promotion, but in order for me to get the bumper free i will have to return both while paying the restocking which makes no sense because i will be paying close to same price if i returned it. And they are saying i cant get refunded for just the bumper i bought.

Only thing I don't like about the Nexus 4 is that you can see the panels under the screen in certain lighting situations.

That is funny you say that.. I just got the phone Friday and I noticed it too.. Then I was like that is cool.. Looks futuristic.. Like solar panels..

It used to be the same with my HTC Inspire, so I'm used to it. And since the phone is not in use and it really doesn't effect anything, it doesn't bother me none.
