I know there are lots of "Should I get an HTC One" threads, but I went ahead and bought one, coming from iPhone, and the past week has been painful. My list of issues so far:
I know iPhone isn't perfect, and there are so many things that Android and HTC do better (swipe, BlinkFeed is cool, Google Now rocks), but it's been a headache setting this phone up, and it's still not where I want it to be.
Is it worth sticking with it, waiting for Jelly Bean and hoping that the experience improves, or is this likely to be what my Android experience is, and it sounds like this is not for me?
Just want to make sure I make the right decision before I switch phones again and maybe miss out on cool stuff.
Thanks!
- No visual voicemail unless I use AT&T's bloatware
- No ability to connect to work email through native Mail client
- Have to pay for Touchdown as no other Mail client works (Secure EAS, Enhanced Email)
- I don't want Facebook in my Gallery (but I do in my Feed)
- Having problems with iPhone users sending me texts as iMessage (had to disable iMessage on all my Apple devices)
- Seems like I need multiple apps to do everything I need
