I got it guys I'm running viper. Got a boitloop but fixed it via cmd... But one last question. I'm on hboot 1.14 and I looked for. a jb kernel and it said I had to have 1.39 or new.... Is that true?

Only use stock kernel or elemental X 2.2 kernel with viper..I use elemental X , and its fantastic

You don't have to use flash GUI with viper, just reboot to recovery and install in twrp

Not true, I had to flash boot.img with my computer. Before it booted.

Gotta let the kernel set in... run it for a week and see how you like it, battery life will get better and better (you'll be able to notice within a few days)

Viper is hboot friendly, and should boot without, sometimes it'll boot loop a few times then work..otherwise you can flash boot.img like you did

Ahhh makes sense. Thank you, and like you said about you not downgrading I think I'm gonna just stay on hboot 1.14 I have the hang of this flashing boot img before hand.

Yep... I like Viper better personally because it has the Sense camera...much better pictures than in any AOSP rom

CM is lighter weight. Runs a little quicker, but is more utilitarian. You can do a zillion themes with it, but it is not quite to the extent of theming you can get with Viper. The 4.2 GAPPS camera, if it worked perfectly, would still be not as good as Sense... but it is much closer than pre 4.2 camera was. Even with the multitasking tweaked on viper, that still runs better on CM (you can read an html book, and it will keep your space, whereas Sense will reload and lose your place for example). In general, when comparing Viper to the latest 10.1 release the other day, Viper runs a bit more reliably, with better battery and better camera. Fewer issues overall, but then CM 10.1 is still unofficial.

I think Viper is the one to have for your stable base, once you get that setup with a nice backup, try the others out there for a day or three and see what remains on your issue list. Viper is my "safe haven" right now, but I am running CM at the moment.
