Thinking about switching to Sprint/Evo 3D

I currently have the Samsung Infuse for AT&T, but am thinking about switching to Sprint with my brother and getting the EVO3D. Before, I just had a few questions for you all.

For anyone who has had AT&T and switched to Sprint, how is the data/call network as compared to AT&T? I live in the metro Detroit area of Michigan, and I know there is no 4G yet, but are there any rumors or confirmations that Spring will expand here?

I also am a huge netflix geek. I havent read anything yet on whether or not it is able to stream netflix, but is that an option? Or do we need to wait for netflix to ok the 3D version of the EVO for the market?

The main reason I want to switch, is though the screen is beautiful on the Infuse, I need my phone to last a good part of the day without having to worry about having a charger with me everywhere I go. I have heard mixed reviews about the phone's battery, but does anyone want to give me their input on their phone's battery life? My Infuse can go through 10% an hour while being idle and not doing anything at all.

Last, I'm assuming this phone has not been successfully rooted yet?

I run netflix. Mind you a hacked version since there isn't an official version for the Evo 3d yet.

I am in Denver. Sprint has been better then when I had AT&T.

Battery is great. I had a 3500 extended battery with the first Evo and the stock battery on the evo 3d outlast it.

Not sure about rooting

The Evo3D is FAST and has more RAM, but the 3D screen is lacking imo...If you can wait until Q3 Sprint will have 2 "new phones" and I'll bet one of them is something similar to the T-Mob Sensation specd the same as the Evo3D without the 3D. That's the one I'll be getting.

The Infuse is an awesome phone, I can't believe you want to give it up. Sprint is a lot cheaper than AT&T and has unlimited data so if you like streaming video, Sprint is the way to go. However, comparing phones, the EVO 3D may be a little better but I love the screen on the Infuse.

Did you just download the .apk file? And I'm assuming that means it works on the EVO3D?

Just be aware that HTC is known for poor battery life on their products. If you are unhappy with the Infuse you will be raving mad at the 3D :)

I know battery life may not be great in this generation of phones, but I've just heard many great things about HTC phones as compared to Samsung.

Samsung arguably has the best Android devices for every carrier with the exception of Sprint.

Currently I'm getting about 7 to 8 hours but I'm using it alot wifi, gps internet browsing 3d videos and pics. I think you'll be happy with it!
