It should be a better plan, if you get an used one from EbayThe battery on this phone is awesome..by that time prices will be a lot lower also. I say definitely go for it.

I completely agree. Phones are extremely bad addiction. I have suffered very badly due to this and now in try to get rid of it.

Yeh I understand I am tempted buy the Galaxy note 9 but waiting on the S10 series and see what the fuss is about it.
Heck my wife will kill me if I get a new phone because I have changed phones 3 times in 2018 lol.
But unfortunately that's what phone addiction does to you.![]()
You need to buy her a purse lol works with mine sometimes![]()
Lol. Don't worry I have my ways.
I usually ask her indirectly you want a new phone when I need one myself . Then I offer her my phone as her upgrade sell her current one to pay towards my new one![]()

Yeah can always find good deals on Ebay or swappa I agree
Or sign up with TMobile, they always have a great deal on Costco
I am keeping my eye out for a discount on the price. So far, I am seeing discounts for trade-ins, or buy one and get free with statement credits or a discount on device payments, which are all good but I prefer to purchase outright. I still have two more months to make something happen.
I am with Verizon and I have decided that I might not be so against the device payment credit.
There is a deal at Verizon buy a Note 9 and get a free (statement credits) S9 or $800 off a Note 9. Not sure if that is for current customers or not. No trade-in is necessary. I am also going to be adding a friend to my plan, so that would be adding a line as well. If I could get the two Note 9s, my mom would have the exact same phone and it would make it super easy to do tech support calls with her.
