I've had Blackberry phones for as long as I can remember but I'm now considering trying out android? I'm thinking of trying the UMI super UMi Smartphone it's good specs and is cheap UMi Smartphone enough that if I don't like it then I can get rid. I don't really want to get the Priv as to be honest I want to leave Blackberry. What do you all think?

That's not one of the more common Android devices. There just aren't a lot of people that use them. That's the great thing, and I guess sometimes the bad thing, about Android. All the choices! Good luck!

It looks like a beautiful device. But, like Sydney said, it is very uncommon. I'm face I never heard of it until now.

This is definitely a device to have this mindset....what you see is what you get. I would assume there will be zero updates; no version, security patch, or even bug fix updates.

Not to mention no idea of physical durability. With these uncommon brands, especially the really cheap ones, there's just no telling how good or bad they are. I'm not saying this specific one is good or bad, but I wouldn't get it without some heavy digging into reliability (which may be hard to find any worthwhile info). I'd personally stick to the name brands and other established brands if possible. At least with those, you're going to have more support from both the manufacturer and the community.

I just checked the link, since I never heard of this device either. It looks like I'll never see one, since it isn't sold in the USA.

Mooncatt brings up a couple of good points.

Android also have a large selection to choose from. I recommend LG phones as they put in small touchups that make their Android flavor unique and nice to use.

I bought the Umidigi Z1. The pro version has an AMOLED screen but that is the only difference between the 2 phones. It has 4000 maH battery and 6 GB of RAM. It has an Octacore processor and runs Nougat 7.0 out of the box. So far I have had 3 updates which have improved the cameras. The cameras are not the best but definitely not the worst either. It has stock Android with little tweaking and is just so fast. I have an iPhone 6s and this phone leaves that standing. The screen is bright and responsive and the FPS is super fast. It kind of looks like an iPhone 6+ and is 5.5" screen. The battery lasts all day on a charge with heavy use. I think my phone was £239 well spent.
