Having just recently joined this forum after being a Crackberry member for a very long time, I have to say that this forum is a much nicer place to share thoughts and opinions. At CB, if you say anything negative about BB, people jump down your throat. It's difficult to have a conversation there at all, unless you're singing the praises of BB. In this forum, I find people very welcoming and honest and willing to discuss a plethora of topics, both positive and negative. In fact, you all do an incredible job diffusing trolling negativity simply by using knowledge as a weapon. CB could learn something from all of you here.

I have to say, this forum had a great deal to do with my decision to buy an Atrix. You sold me with your eloquent honesty and knowledge. It's a pleasure to find such a forum out in the ether.

Thank you for all your help. I'll be back to celebrate after I pick up my Atrix.:D

You guys better not say anything bad about Android, or I will be forced to pout. Joking, I myself am a Precentral convert. Welcome and hope you guys enjoy the new phones.

I prefer it here as well. I left CrackBerry because of a group of rude posters, and the general atmosphere there.

This place is great because it's more technical and less drama. The Mods here take care of business. I appreciate that.

Thanks guys for joining the biggest Android Community on the internet. Its great to hear when someone posts a thread about themselves loving the way the forums and community are. Ill be honest with you, Im also a fellow CrackBerrian myself. I didnt leave CrackBerry because of any problems. I just left CrackBerry because I switched from BlackBerry to Android. I know they have a forum there, but this website is dedicated to just Android mainly. So I got more information from here when I first jumped on the Android Bandwagon.

I cant say anything bad about CrackBerry. The Mods were great and became good friends still to this day for me, CrackBerry Keven is a funny guy and I still get a kick out of his videos he makes and the community was ok for me. But Im Android now. And this website is what Android is all about. Plus as you can see that CrackBerry, Android Central, Palm Pre Forums and all that are like affiliated with eachother. So its like moving from one King to another King.

There are other websites and forums out there for Android. But Android Central is the forefront. The leader with news and forums information. People are a lot more respectful here because these forums are well maintaind.

This is the best forums ever! People are willing to help whenever you need it. And that's how you grow a community and have others learn! Yesterday I needed help with and SDK for my Xoom to put a new kernal on and 3 people helped me within minutes. This is definitely the place to learn on how to get the most and best of your android device!

THANKS TO THE AC CREW AND FORUMS!!!

could it possibly be that we're the younger crowd so we're up to help out more often?.....****

Of course I didn't mean to offend the admins. They were great! The information contained in the CB forum is awesome. It's the place to be if you have a BB. They're truly experts about everything BB. I think it was just a few trolling visitors who only seemed to stop by when they saw an opportunity to slap someone around a bit. I think they're everywhere.

I just picked up my Atrix 2 days ago and haven't had to ask a single question yet due to the abundance of well articulated information here. It's just a pleasure not to have to wade through attack postings to find what I'm looking for. I couldn't help but notice the difference in environments, from a more emotional perspective I guess. Thank you for keeping a close eye on things here.

lol. Crackberry was a fun place to be at. Especially in the market place. Its amazing how much money I made on used BlackBerrys. I just cant find it right to be on a BlackBerry website with an Android forum since I have an Android phone now. I gotta have the cream of the crop! AC! lol

It was a crazy place!lol It was like shopping in a store the size of NY! They have -everything- anyone could want for a BB and their prices were good too. Used BB's? I still have my old Curve 8300. No wifi, no gps, but it works like a charm. It's my backup alarm now. It sits across the room ready to harass me every morning!

I too am new to this forum, and I love the friendly environment and great wealth of information. I knew I was going to buy an android phone when I was able to upgrade, and I'm very glad I came across this forum.

I'm very new to Android. I just bought my Moto Atrix on Tuesday this week (I'm on ATT), and successfully rooted it myself on my first try! (Did a lot of reading on here and xda developers forum). I gotta admit I was holding my breath at some points during it (and the upgrade to the latest software on the Atrix), but it all worked out.

Look forward to coming back here daily to see the latest android chatter!
