Method 2 (KDZ Updater): LG Cell Phone Tips & Tricks
Download the KDZ File and the KDZ Updater Tool.
Enable USB Debugging (Settings > Applications > Development)
Close EVERYTHING on your PC
Disable LG Virtual Modem (On the PC go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Modems > Right click on LGE Virtual Modem and hit Disable) If it isn?t there don?t worry.
Move all your apps to the phone memory, and then unmount the SD card, and remove it from the phone.
Open the .7z file (with 7-Zip) and extract it.
Run msxml.msi.
Connect your phone (Use the USB ports on the back of your computer).
Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe.
Select 3GQCT for type and DIAG for phone mode.
Browse to the KDZ file you are flashing.
Press ?Launch Software Update?.
Your phone must have be update to V20F now, good luck!

Worked great. Give it a shoot.

Flashing via kdz should be a last resort.
Get log mobile update tool. Heck I think its on the disc you get with the phone.

An extreme last resort. I've bricked 2 devices thanks to it. Countless others bricked too.
