Received my spigen slim armor today. Ordered on Monday so +1 for Amazon on this one. Just put it on, seems a little slippery, but looks decent. For 15 bucks including shipping I'm not complaining.

I've been using the Spigen Slim Armor Dual protective case for a week now, and I have nothing negative to say about it. I was concerned I would always have to hold the phone in my hand everywhere I went, but nope, it fits nicely in all my shirt pockets and I'm confident that it would withstand in a drop. I'm still careful with it though, because I feel the glass screen can still get damaged by mishaps. I can't wait till a tempered glass protector comes out for this. Then I will be convinced that my phone is fully protected.

I just received my SUPCASE that the OP discussed in the initial post. At a hair under $22 delivered on Amazon, I am very impressed. It took 12 days from order to delivery, which was a bit worrisome since I was concerned about going "naked" for too long with my new device. But the seller emailed me to advise that the case was backordered, so I just had to be extra careful during my wait.

The case is very sturdy, and while it adds some bulk, it doesn't bother me. Coming from an iPhone 5, the phone already feels big in my hand, so adding a little bulk to it isn't a negative in any way, IMHO. The "flaps" that cover the headphone jack, the power plug and the s pen fit snuggly (is that even a word?), and frankly they add a good bit of protection I would think. It's not rated as waterproof, obviously, but the flaps give me some piece of mind for when I'm running with the phone or I happen to get caught in the rain while I've got the phone with me.

The cover does not feel slippery, but I wouldn't say the plastic is tacky or grippy either. The edges have more grip than the back, and they have slightly raised cerraded edges that assist with handling. It certainly is more confidence-inspiring than while holding the smooth edges of the naked phone.

The built-in screen protector is literally invisible, and I've noticed no degredation in touch sensitivity. And I do like the added protection it adds since I use the s pen and had concerns regarding whether the plastic tip could effect the screen over time. How much protection it would actually add in a drop scenario remains unknown, though I hope to never put it to the test.

As far as the holster, I don't know how often I'll actually use it. But it too is well-made and appears to be sturdy. The clip is solid and, with some effort, can be turned to allow for placement lengthwise or widthwise. The phone fits securely in the holster and I'd have no apprehension about it falling out accidentally.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with the SUPCASE. Eventually I would like to get a waterproof case (Seidio, Otterbox or Lifeproof if they they come out with one), but those aren't available yet AND they won't be $16.99 plus shipping when they become available.

I give the SUPCASE 2 thumbs up!

Just bought the case. Absolutely satisfied. Quality is surprisingly comparable if not more premium feeling than the otterbox alternative. And no its not cheap feeling, those that insist it have either not purchased it, or have some sort of odd reason to hate the company. It feels solidly built. The built in screen protector doesnt feel super plasticky if that makes sense. It actually just feels like another screen protector added on. The case is built with thick plastic with a matte finish with some gloss accents on the back. The surrounding plastic around the rim of the case doesnt feel like it'll become loose and flimsy like a certain other company.

Before you judge it, buy it. Dont be like those dumb amazon reviewers who comment on an item without even actually owning it.

Do you feel the OP had some part in misleading your expectations?
I do. I read your write up a few posts above and had no idea, but it all makes sense. I guess the important thing in my case was the return policy because in my opinion it's not worth anywhere near $25... almost seems like he should have to disclose his position on the matter. Very misleading

I am pretty pissed. I ordered that damn case for my upcoming course, and the Spigen case that said it would come in Dec arrived already and this one which said it would arrive before I go, hasn't and isn't likely so now I am going with a fashion polycarb case instead of the rugged case I needed....sigh. I should have ordered before I even bought the phone but I wasn't 100% sure about the purchase....

PS I didn't order the case based on OP recommendation, I had already gone to amazon.ca to surf for suitable and AVAILABLE cases...

Other than the disingenuous link, nothing was 'misleading'. It was one opinion and a product fact sheet.

Couldn't agree with you more Winpeguy, and thanks for doing all the investigative homework. The OP did seem a little too enthusiastic and just seemed a little off with some of the wording. He (assuming the OP isn't a robot) has definitely chose to mislead everyone into thinking this was an honest, objective review of a Note 4 case. The fact that he gains compensation for others purchasing this case absolutely discredits his claims and "opinions". Kudos to you sir. My hunt for a Note 4 case continues, and I'll continue my due diligence before making a purchase.

I just got the Tech 21 case...really really good case. I usually go with Otterbox Defender, but since I installed the invisibleshield glass (and yes there is a halo effect, but it was installed perfectly), the Defender would have been overkill.

Hey, the case isn't what you needed? No problem with that. There's no perfect case that fits *everyone's* needs.

However, I *highly* doubt that the OP is a 'subsidiary' or even employee of Supcase. Unless I'm mistaken, anyone can create these clickthrough/referral links. I've seen similar on other places that link to individual products or whole websites (like Amazon itself). If I created a clickthrough to the Playstation 4 on Amazon (for instance) I highly doubt anybody would mistake me as a 'subsidiary' of Sony. I think we're giving the OP *way* too much credit, and holding a whole company responsible for some internet nobody seems a little.. over vigilant.

Oh, I'm all with you. The link in the OP's post certainly seems to be a paid forwarder. And nowhere did I recommend anyone making advertising links on this site. References to any advertising links I've seen in the past were about other websites (most notably webcomics), not this one.

I understand. The op has been edited to remove the referral link.
