AC should automatically change the affiliate link of posters to their own affiliate link. That way the community makes the money and the self-serving poster volunteers to make the site some money.
If it is a direct referral link like the below then the system does automatically change it. However if it is a redirect (like in this case) then it doesn't.

I bought the case before I even started posting on this forum, and I think that it's good value and quality for the money. I may eventually get a even more "heavy-duty" case in the next few months. Overall, it's moderately thick in bulkiness.

Urban Armor Gear, they're slimmer than an Otterbox and are just as protective! Not to mention, they're not as ugly! Lol

To me this case has the looks of the UAG with some of the attributes of the Defender (holster, flaps, sp, ruggesness) without being as bulky as the Defender.

Here's a side by side of this case with the Spigen Slim Armor. Note they are practically identical in thickness.

I also added a pic of it next to a UAG case for my M8 to show how similar the designs are.

Before my Otterbox Defender Case I had for the Note 3, I only used dual layer Hybrid cases and they had enough protection for me. I would never have a slim case, just because of the investment and cost of the phones now. You drop it, you'll get another phone yeah, but probably refurbished. I had a thin Hybrid Case on my Note 2. It was slim and not too bulky. I was talking to a friend while walking, with the phone in my left pocket, wasn't paying attention and walked into a half wall at the mall. Banged my leg good enough to feel it for awhile. I pulled out my phone and nothing was cracked, but as soon as I tried to use the phone, the Screen wouldn't come on. It wasn't cracked, just went Black. I could start the phone, but couldn't see anything.

After that had to purchase the Note 3, because I wanted the N4, but it wasn't out for a few months. Best buy wanted too much for a refurbished, so went with the Note 3. Decided More protection is better. I had no problem with the Otterbox Defender case on my N3. This time when I saw this, yeah, it may not be pretty, but does the job as well as a Defender for like 1/3 of the price. Anybody that wants protection should consider this as an option. I was worried from the pics that it might feel slippery but it's not. Has textured sides and even the back has some grip. I know it's bulky, but at least I know I've got protection. I'd love to go naked, but not looking to damage the phone. I'm clumsy, so for me it's fine. Everybody has their tastes though, so to each his own. I dropped my Note 3 a few times from about 3ft up and never damaged the phone and worked perfectly, so I'm all about the protection. I don't find the case too bulky, but had an otterbox defender before, so use to the bulk. No problems that I can tell from the holes on the bottom. I may pop out the plastic screen that came with it, because I did that with the Note 3 and defender case, and I have a tempered glass screen protector.

I got my Supcase for the Note 4 on Amazon for $19.99 when I got it. It is much slimmer than the Otterbox and not as Wide also. After having the case for awhile now, I'm loving the protection and the size of it, but have only one thing I dislike about it. It was the same problem I had with the Otterbox Case for my Note 3.

Even though I like that the Charging Port and S Pen are covered by a flap. It's such a pain to open the flap up to grab the S pen Quickly if you need it and takes more time to keep the flap open to put it back. Same with Charging the Phone at Night, I have to turn the phone upside down to pry the flap open while I try to connect the charging port. I guess I can always cut the flaps off if I wanted to. It's just something I have to deal with, because the protection of keeping the dust out of the charging port and also I remember of reading people having their S Pens fall out and get lost, is worth having them there. Although, with the new S Pen having a ridged surface, I don't really think I'd ever have to worry about it slipping out unless the pen wasn't pushed all the way in. It never happened on my Note tablets or other Note phones.

Oh and it does come with a Belt clip that protects the front of the phone, I just don't keep the belt clip on. I have a pouch case I can use for that if I need it on my belt. Too big of a phone though for on your belt. JMO.

...okay, how about the home button? Otterbox has an enclosure for the home button looks like this has a cut out on the protective film... not cool

I did not like the dust collection from under the built-in screen protector.

Yup. Has a cutout, and from a previous case, I also hate how dust collects under it. That's why the first thing I did was pop out the screen protector so I could replace it with my own. (Currently using a tempered glass, works fine with the case.)

Best case? Bear Motion genuine lambskin leather wallet stand case. I first got the fake leather and replaced it with the real leather as a holiday gift. A delight!

Completely revamped from the earlier Note 2 cases I had. They really protected my phone from a few major drops. But this one is different.

The casing itself is now rubber-type and tight-fitting. Your phone is beyond safe. The casing has a raised lip; the screen won't hit the ground even if open. And it won't come off; it's tight. The wallet is handy and beautiful. It also adds soft padding with very little bulk. With a phablet you need a landscape stand feature to enjoy videos and use it at night.

Here's is my case. My photo. I got rid of the background in Photoshop.

A beauty. Genuine leather! Reasonable price.

UAG specifies MIL-STD - 810G 516.6. They don't specify which specific procedure but procedure 4 seems to match what they are claiming, 4' drop 26 times ON 2" PLYWOOD backed by concrete.
