I don't know. I don't think storage usage for "regular" users is a static thing over time. Cameras like this one have more megapixels than ever, resulting in larger photo sizes, 4K video recording, and with people more and more using cameras on their phone for pics and for VIDEO, I think that "regular" people will start to push up against a storage issue over time with a phone that only has 7GB available. Maybe not in month 1, but with lots of apps, lots of videos, etc, I don't think it is too hard at all for normal folks to get to 7GB in a year or longer.
IMO, 16GB MAY be OK if the user gets actually has 10GB or 12GB usable... maybe. I don't think 16GB is enough anymore if users only get 7+ GB ...
I'll be getting the 32GB one, assuming Verizon offers it again ..
