The below picture is that of an LG G2. -60dBm. My S4, same spot, is -85 dBm. A 25 dBm difference is huge, especially when held next to each other. The LG G3 can't come fast enough. #Verizon

You know that's 1X strength on G2, not 4G? Your S4 was also on 1X?

There is big difference between 1X and LTE on any phone. Usually LTE is lower by 20~30dbm.

Yes, I did notice that. I couldn't get a 4G dBm reading on the G2. PC Mag gave the G2 an 8/10 for reception - An improvement over the S4.

G2 in that picture was on WiFi and that's why. Just turn off WiFi and it will show both 1X and 4G. If it had -60dbm on 1X it will be somewhere around -83dbm in 4G.

I think LG reception is a little better than Samsung too, but not like 25dbm better.

I find Samsung reception poor also. Great phones other than reception issues

On t-mobile, the s5 has the best reception available.

Funny every forum people complain about reception issues. They all have issues and more times than. It it has nothing to do with the phone itself.

That screen unevenness is awful.
