Been testing my 8 pro now for a couple of days and I've yet to experience any glitches of any sort. Very much unlike the 6 pro (at the beginning).
Same for me. I was not planning to order, and when I did, I expected to be returning mine by now, but very impressed so far.

I am particularly pleasantly surprised and pleased with face unlock and the FPS. I expected them to be terrible. Battery life is good, signal is good, connectivity is good. I am just waiting for something to go wrong.

Also enjoying the Watch 2. I also expected very little from it, but it has been great so far. I wish it was a little larger, but that is about it.

Finally, Belroy leather case is also very nice.

Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I've run into a few:

1. Always on Display doesn't stay alway on. I'll turn the screen off, and AoD will show for a second then vanish and the screen will go completely blank.

2. I'm getting janky scrolling performance in certain apps (Play Store, Youtube) and settings (battery, apps).

3. The phone seems to heat up doing nothing intensive at all. I'm just browsing Chrome and the phone can get quite hot when I'm just reading basic articles. My S23U never got hot doing something basic like that.

Maybe your phone is faulty, because your experience is not mine at all. The only issue I have had have been app related. A few of my apps will not open on the 8 Pro. Also permission Controller keeps stopping. I have sent feedback each time. But no heat at all, no jankiness and no hardware issues at all.

I thought they emulated 32 but completely did away with it this round. I could be wrong about the timing.
Since August 2019, all applications on the Google Play Store must have 64-bit support. Last year, it stopped offering 32-bit applications without any 64-bit support.

This is happening on my 6a and started after updating to Android 14. So perhaps its a 14 bug.
Interesting, I have no issues with always on display on my Pixel 8 Pro. I have the always on display setting to display always and it works fine. The screen doesn't go black after going to sleep and it displays the AOD with the clock, weather etc
