This phone is underrated. Let me explain...

Exchanging my droid turbo 2 for the v 10

Hi folks. I'm excited. This looks like a great phone.

I came from the HTC One M8 and I love my V10.
I miss Blinkfeed but Flipboard and Google pretty much keep me satisfied.

Battery doesn't last as long as I would like but recharges incredibly fast. And spare battery with docking station is on its way.

I disagree with the OP as far as performance. I've ran Guns n Glory on 4 other devices and never had choppieness like I have on the V10. I'm hoping it's some optimization on the game developers part but I've seen some other things not as smooth as I'd like.

Signal(T-Mobile) is definitely better than any phone I've had and even better than my Verizon Samsung S5 work phone and better than my daughters iPhone 5s(T-Mobile) . With T-Mobile's new LTE band I have a super fast connection even in rural areas.

LG's UI isn't as good as HTC but on par with Samsung IMO.

Screen is very nice to look at compared to the S5, and the camera on the V10 is awesome with no lag.

Fingerprint reader is my new favorite feature. Much better than HTC's facial recognition which worked well but awkward when unlocking while walking.

The IR doesn't work as well as HTC's but it works well enough if you are in front of the TV.

Build quality is definitely as good as Apple and HTC which is saying a lot.

I would still recommend this phone as it does everything pretty well and some things better than any other.

I hope this answers some people's questions.

Did you disable the "Game optimizer" feature under "Battery & power saving" in the settings? I don't play games but disabled this anyway in case it interferes with other video.

Had no idea it existed. I'll report back my findings.
Thanks for the info

After two weeks of use I absolutely love this phone. I came over from a G3. Tried the S6 edge plus, just wasn't my thing. I've always liked being able to double tap to turn on/off the display, and the volume on the back has always worked for me. Looking forward to getting my 200gb card so I can stuff all my music on it.

I disabled it and didn't seem to help much. I also disabled a few services which seemed to help a little bit. Definitely less choppy but still noticeable.
