This phone is underrated. Let me explain...

I agree. I went to the Best Buy today and the Note 5 colors look cartoony and oversaturated - more so than my Note 3. I guess some people like that though.
Like me! LOL. I much prefer the N5 screen to my N3 screen. When someone says "looks better doesn't mean it is better"..well I prefer looks better. I had a tech guy come out and accurately set up color brightness etc on my Samsung smart tv and to my eyes it looked washed out and too yellow not enough blue. I reset it to factory settings and presto it looked gorgeous. I have no doubt the carefully set up method was more color accurate but I prefer prettier. Like Moto white has always been more neutral and Sammy white has always been more blue. I like more blue. Just me.

Joe, is the signal strength much better then with the Note 5?

I'm thinking about dumping the Note 5 for the V10, if it only had wireless charging.:p

Note 5 has better signal with wifi and without using wifi I had lg v10 one day the signal isn't great but I'm sure everyone has different honest opinions I'm just saying for me it wasn't better then my note 5.

The display on the N5 is over saturated and colors are inaccurate. It looks better, but it doesn't mean its better. The V10s display is natural, accurate and and sharper.

You'd think someone who actually owned the phone, and sells it, would know the colors on the N5 can be adjusted to a more realistic setting.

Aside from that, how is the V10 display in bright sunlight. I'm considering both the Note and LG for my next device, and visibility in sunlight is very important to me.

I know you can adjust the colors, I do roms as a side project.

As for viewing in sunlight, It's not bad at all. N5 does get brighter.

I just did a little research on this--and with some deals, they are even tossing in a free 200gb SD card!

It almost makes me sad that I'm not quite ready to upgrade this season, but after Samsung ditched SD and removable batteries, I was looking for another big screen solution when I'm ready to upgrade next time. This looks like it. It seems to answer every question I had. Come this time next year (probably), its successor is a strong possibility. Impressive.

I love the device. I know most view battery life as a huge issue for most of these devices. I made 1 change that has drastically increased battery life. I turned off auto sync of my Google accounts. This puppy lasts me well in to the next day.

The screen is phenomenal. Camera is great too. It's a shame it doesn't get mentioned by most because I think it would blow a lot of the phones out of the water.

Had LG refreshed the UI, this phone would have gotten the love it deserves. It's a shame though, this phone ticks just about all the boxes when looking for a solid experience.

So u never know if you have an emailor you set it for once an hour or what?

I'm not understanding all of the negative reviews on the V10. I'm loving this phone. I also have the Note 5 but don't use it anymore. Everyone complains about not having expandable storage and removable battery. This phone has it! I actually like LG's UI over Samsung. This phone does so many things well. I'm sold!

LG get the basics right which is the important factor for most of us. I prefer removeable battery and expandable memory SD card. LG have nailed it with the V10

Came from a HTC M8 & would not look back... This device is superior in most ways. Yes, the speakers are not the stereo front face, but, it's not all that bad. How much do you use speakers on a phone? Screen is super... yes 1 is better / different than another. User interface works well enuf. I use TypeMail & Textra, for comms. They run fine:) Music is super. Bluetooth is great, reception on ATT is great no lost/dropped calls in 2 weeks of use.
To me, for my profile, business user, non gamer? Its super... & who else gives you the ability to put in a SD card & gives you a free 200 GB as a thanks? &... I bought mine, (traded) at BestBuy & got the 24" LED TV as a nice bonus :)
If the next version stays the same, with some polished fixes, they will have THE superior smartphone in the market. Job Well Done.. now go & get 1

I went from a Note 3 to the V10 and the signal strength here at work is better. I can at least use the phone here where I couldn't the Note 3.

One thing I noticed with the V10 is that the speaker and ear piece volume seem pretty low.
Anyone else notice this?
