Ditto about the bootlooping for the G5 and V20. The G3 was also pretty much exempt from that, as well.

Not worried about bootloop issues. Absolutely love my new G6. And LG did can everybody over a year ago so I'm sure they have different people doing the OS programming. It's a great phone and super smooth.

I can tell you I've handled 4 phones, 2 at each location. They were all dim, I had to adjust the brightness up to 85% on all of them. My Note 4 requires only 50%
For all those who love their G6...congrats! I am really glad you enjoy it.
For me, it was the exact same experience that I have had with LG phones in the past...extremely laggy, poor battery life, etc. It just didn't work out..went back to my iPhone 7 Plus which has never had an issue.

I've had zero lag on this phone, battery life is not even early enough to make definitive statements. Enjoy the iPhone.
6 1/2 hours seems to be the consistent mark for battery. Im having excellent battery life and zero lag as well.

That's pretty solid battery life. I'd also be surprised with the specs if there was much lag either.
It is for a 3300 battery. Ive hit that same sot everyday since last Saturday and been seeing others reporting the exact same sot as well. Its 6pm here and I pulled off the charger at 6:30 am and Im at 69% currently using the phone like normal. Whatever battery optimizations LG, they seem to have done them right.

Yeah that's awesome. Definitely starting to consider this phone. Had the g5 and it was alright, especially with the second battery and charging pack but he phone never really wowed me. This one is definitely a little more intriguing.
Auto. Right now it's at 55%. I'm under florescents most of the day at work so it's normally around 50%.
As I said, I'm happy for all those who love it. I wanted to love it but it was just a burden to have. I may have had a defective unit, who knows. All I know is that it didn't work for me and will try out the S8+ when it's out and wait for TMO to drop the $130 down payment for JOD.

Maybe I'm just getting old (54) but 50% on that phone is way too dark for me.
Auto on my Note 4 is too dark also, I just leave it at 50%, day & night
I may still give that phone a try and see what battery life is like running brightness @85%
Im sure the battery will take a big hit at that level. Im guessing I'd go from 6 1/2 hours to probably 5 or less.

The G6 is a great phone y'all. I have the V20 and it's very similar except for the size. Performance is stellar and battery is very reliable. The IPS LCD beautiful to look at. I really like the overall design of the G6, LG did an excellent job.
