Thought this was funny and interesting.

I know 3 people with iphone 5s that all complain about how their battery sucks. But know one person who says it's fine. Not sure who to believe. I do know that most phones suck.

I call bs EVERYONE I know has great on screen time. Everyone.
8 hours is normal on iPhones. I can use iOS and enjoy it, of course YOU wouldn't I do.

Yes, I too, don't want to listen to long, introductions on previous devices.
Thus, don't watch live streams.

It's good that I'm not the only one that does this:)

Its nothing strange, to skip though Live streams.

My friend call me strange for watching them in the first place lol.

Well, there usually long, and half of the events are just reminiscent of previous devices.
Its not something obscure, as a lot of people do watch them.

No i's not that, he thinks watching them at all is stupid. He is a normal consumer and uses an iPhone 3GS and says that's perfectly fine for him.

In a year or so, he's sure to replace the 3GS, right?
I usually replace my phones after 4 years, I have a Nokia N950 as my daily driver, but do also have a Galaxy Nexus lying around.

He must keep his phones in good condition.
The screen will probably wear as time passes, well he is saving money.
Sort of. 4 years ago, wow.
2009 was awesome.

Well he hasn't damaged it at all( don't accidentally damage mine either) but I would be so frustrated with such a slow phone tbh.

I don't think Apple gives updates to it either, anymore.
Even though I'm no Apple fan, the 3GS is one of my favourite phones.

They stopped updating it last year, it was supported well.

Probably their best trait; attempting to keep legacy hardware up to date with new software versions. I realize not all new features come with it and that makes sense, but it's the one thing Android OEM's drop the ball on consistently.

I just ordered an iPhone 5 for my daughter yesterday. I can't wait to see this 8 hours of on screen time. You know I'm going to call you a liar if I don't get at least 6 hours. :p:thumbup:

I imagine that network strength and the type of network make a pretty huge difference.

All OSs are good, even if you hate an mobile OS, you can't deny that it has good traits.
They just cater to different people.

My SGS2 just got Jellybean. 2 major updates is all anyone can and should expect with Android. There are too many crazy new features being added. With iOS.... Not so much.

Give it a week or two before you see the 8 hours on screen time.

Full LTE bars with wifi off sometimes at home.

I'm really hoping that the future of batteries, where uptime is measured in weeks instead of hours, comes sooner rather than later. Would love to see that as the 2014 milestone advancement. Really, if we're comparing 5 hours to 8 hours, we're usually talking about 1 day between charges... in which case, I think people shouldn't stare at their phone for 5 hours straight unless they're killing time at their in law's house :)
