Thoughts on Anti-Glare screen protectors?

I picked up a GN yesterday and had them throw in a pack of screen protectors. I didn't realize until I got home though that they were anti-glare. I like the fact that they don't really show fingerprints, but it seems like it kills the crispness of the screen at certain angles. Anyone else using these?

same thing, using them however didnt know what they were till I got home. i def think they ake away from the screen but am trying to convince myself that i need one installed. Dont know if the antiglare is effective but it seems to help a little?!

Does anyone know if Verizon stores sell the regular screen protectors? Since they come in 3-packs, maybe I'll do some testing and see which I like better.

Yes they have the regular ones. I hate the antiglare. For me they seemed to magnify the pentile aspect of the screen. I didn't realize until I took the thing off that the screen was absolutely amazing looking. I thought maybe I could just see the pixelation but it was just the screen protector.

In fact I started a thread in here saying not to get them. I bought the regular ones and they are pretty good actually.

I also have one installed, and REALLY wish I knew what it looked like before I installed it. The above post hits the issue with this protector entirely in the fact that it magnifies the pentile aspect. It's VERY easy to spot the distortion (pixelation, whichever phrase u wanna use) on a white background and it looks god awful. I would have taken it off already but I know that when I do I will never get another one on perfectly again. I'm sure I will cave in and do it eventually.

I picked up the clear ones today. I'll see if I can capture the effects with a camera. I'll check it out on a white background and see how bad it looks.

Anti-glare protectors on amoled screens are not good due to diffraction type effects. The clear ones from Verizon work very well for me though.
