Thoughts on the Note 10 and Note 10+ now that everything has been laid out?

That's the whole point—the S10 is arguably just as good and even better when it comes to what you get for the price. Why charge more for less? As a Note 9 user, is the S pen worth that much more of a premium after losing key features that defined the note series in the first place?

I thought the Spen is what defined the Note series. After that' it's all frosting.

Some nice new features on the S pen - handwriting to text, for example - as well as new video capabilities. That said, I can't say there is anything at all that will make me upgrade from the Note 9.

The 5G note 10+ and 5G S10+ are the same price... Just an interesting observation

I'm not impressed overall. Only 1080P and 3400 mAh for the regular Note 10, with that price? No. And the 10+ is a *hell* no. I'm not a fan of that center hole at all. Finicky motion gestures for the S-Pen are a gimmick, and, of course, no headphone jack, no buy. About the only thing I found interesting was the sound zoom feature. I'll be sticking with my S10+. And honestly, I think Note 9 sales will see a bit of a spike now that the 10 is out. That's the one I'd go for if I wanted a Note device.

I was quite underwhelmed by this release. Especially with how bad they neutered the smaller Note 10. What's the point of it? Unless you absolutely have to have an S-pen the regular sized S10 is a way better deal. Same CPU, same RAM, almost same sized screen but a higher res screen, headphone jack, microSD card slot and in Canada it's $150 cheaper than the regular Note 10. What's the point?

A big pet peeve of mine in this hobby is when manufacturers totally spec neuter the smaller version of a phone.

basically 300mah battery increase over my note 9...low battery upgrade..probably will last less with the bigger screen. I wish it was 4500. still going to upgrade this damn note 9.

I noticed that too. Sucks for those that got the S10+ 5G. Wonder if it will get a price reduction.
