Thoughts on the Note 10 and Note 10+ now that everything has been laid out?

I'm getting the Note 10+, upgrading from the Note 9. I love the way it feels in my hand, and I love the new "gimmicky" features, and the new camera/pen capabilities. Pair it with my Moment lenses, it will be a beast. I don't jump between brands nor between lines. I like the Note for the pen. Although my Note 9 is still slamming, I'm getting the 10+ because I can.

Samsung hasn't lost me yet. They are also getting my money for the Tab S6, and eventually the Watch Active 2.

Well I was all set to trade my s10 but 400 isn't enough that's kinda crappy , also your really only gaining the s pen so screw it. Feeling pretty underwhelmed . And only 6 gigs of ram .... I wonder will everybody complain about why it's not 8 .

It's 8 gigs on the 10, 12 on the 10+

Yea just read through it again. Thanks for the correction . It's still a let down though

I haven't had a Samsung phone since the S8+ or a Note since the short-lived 7, but I can see why for someone who has a newer Sammie to not be interested. I've mostly been on iOS for the last couple years.

samsung blew it big time....$$$$ for a hole in the top of the display, u got to be kidding....maybe a pop up camera..small bezel at top to hide it....and the curved sides, i was never a fan of it..samsung has someone there that goes to sleep, dreaming curved edges....not for me...and no headphone jack...i demand that

$600 for trading in my 3xl is pretty crazy, plus i can get a gear fit and another set of Galaxy buds for free. The phone looks solid, the only thing I haven't seen is what kind of improvements were made to the main camera. I'd really hate to trade in the pixel and then regret it as soon as I start snapping pictures. I'm pretty torn between this and waiting for the pixel 4.

They can't keep everyone happy.

If you count the 200 credits it's like getting it for 300. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to get the Verizon model since I'm not sure all the carrier features work though I read somewhere that Verizon does support unlocked

yes sad face now

Yeah, it's dumb. Between the in screen fps, the trade in on the note 9, and the 200 Samsung store credit, I would be ready to pull the trigger on a 5g unlocked version. Even tried to figure out if simply installing the unlocked or t-mobile os could do the trick (once they were available), but it turns out the Verizon version will have a different 5g modem (x50) that isn't compatible with the 5g bands of the other 3 carriers (these will use the x55 according to cnet). Ugh.

That'll be a NOPE from me. The 10+ is too big, and the 10 has worse specs than the regular S10 for $150 more. Had the 10 been priced closer to $849 it'd be easier to swallow, but not at all at $949.

I am not impressed with the new Note 10 or Note 10+. For Samsung to wait this long just release this is underwhelming.

But Samsung is giving me $600 for my trade in and an additional $200 in Samsung credit to use for accessories or a different device is an offer too good to refuse. Upgrading for $500-$600 isn't bad at all

How are they on trades? Mine is spotless

Note 10 Plus definitely. If I preorder through Best Buy it would be the Blue one likely

Thinking about the Note 10+. Still have OnePlus 7 Pro on my radar as well. Definitely want to upgrade before my vacation later this month lol.

I'm not impressed overall. Only 1080P and 3400 mAh for the regular Note 10, with that price? No. And the 10+ is a *hell* no. I'm not a fan of that center hole at all. Finicky motion gestures for the S-Pen are a gimmick, and, of course, no headphone jack, no buy. About the only thing I found interesting was the sound zoom feature. I'll be sticking with my S10+. And honestly, I think Note 9 sales will see a bit of a spike, now that the 10 is out. That's the one I'd go for if I wanted a Note device.

Why would you consider the Note 10 if you already have the S10+? The differences between the S and the following Note in the same year has been not huge the last few years, and this year it is not much different.

I will pick up the Note 10+... The comments and reaction to the Note 10 series is similar to the Note 9 series. Some hated it, and others liked it.. eventually people come around to it.

You could trade in bro!

I preordered the Note 10+ and trading in my note 9 for $600 with Samsung. Its pretty much a steal!
